سوخت دیزل
سوخت دیزل به هر گونه سوخت مایع گفته می شود که در موتورهای دیزلی بکار رود.این سوخت بیشتر از روش ویژه ای در تقطیر جز به جز نفت مازوت بدست می آید اما روش های دیگری نیز برای فراوری سوخت دیزل بدون بهره گیری نفت وجـود دارد که از جمـله آنـها مـی توان :
زیست دیزل،
زیسـت تـوده به مـایـع(BTL)
و گاز به مایع (GTL)
اشاره داشت.

نقطه ریزش
نقطه ریزش یک مایع پایین ترین دمایی است که در آن مایع تحت شرایط تعیین شده روان و جاری می گردد.
نقطه ریزش نشانگر پایین ترین دمایی است که در آن روغن به سهولت قابل پمپ کردن باشد.
